The laboratories of the Department of Pathology provide anatomical and clinical pathology testing and consultation for patient care and research. The laboratories are licensed by the New York State Department of Health and the Health Care Financing Administration and are accredited by the College of American Pathologies and the American Association of Blood Banking.

Clinical consultation is provided 24 hours a day. Senior Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residents and attending physicians are on call at all times.
